The Ivy Hill Foundation Scholarship Initiative

The Ivy Hill Foundation Scholarship Initiative will award up to four $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who will begin their post-secondary education at an accredited two- or four-year institution this fall.
Eligibility

Open to ALL graduating high school seniors who attend or are home schooled in Chapel Hill, Carrboro or Orange County, NC.

Competitive applicants will:

Have an excellent academic history balanced with extracurricular involvement

Have strong recommendations letters that will provide insight to the applicant that the selection committee may not otherwise know

Submit a well thought out, community service project proposal

Completed applications will include:
-
High school transcript
-
Two (2) letters of recommendation

Resume (two-page limit, minimum font size 10, please)

Completed community service project proposal

Applicants will be evaluated on:
-
Academic excellence, recommendation letters, leadership, community service proposal

Viability, can the idea be implemented?

Creativity of the submission
-
Did the proposal address the selected topic?
-
Did the applicant have a clear understanding of the requested task?
