2011 President's Message

Welcome to the website of Mu Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Located in Chapel Hill, NC, we serve Chapel Hill and Carrboro communities. We are honored to be the graduate advisors of Theta Pi Chapter at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Chartered on January 28, 1979, Mu Omicron Omega has worked diligently through the years providing services and conducting a variety of programs for area residents. Our members consist of women with diverse backgrounds – doctors, lawyers, educators, corporate executives, college administrators, housewives, retirees – all dedicated to meeting the goals and objectives of our sorority.

As we continue providing service to all mankind 103 years after our founders created this wonderful sisterhood, we look forward to “Global Leadership Through Timeless Service: Serving Our Community with Service, Dedication and Purpose.”
